ITRACT
ITRACT is a European Union funded trans national partnership between partners in the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden , Norway and the LRB. The partnership recognises that there still remain a high number of underdeveloped rural areas, who have to cope with poor connectivity and accessibility, high unemployment rates, an ageing population and limited broadband access to enable virtual connectivity with other regions.
ITRACT’s aim is to create sustainable and inclusive regional economies and communities throughout the North Sea Region by using new technologies to improve both virtual communication and physical transport on a large scale.
