Hawes, surrounding villages and Garsdale Station

The Hawes Area Village Bus is an accessible minibus providing links around the Hawes area, and between Hawes and Garsdale Station on the famous Leeds-Settle-Carlisle railway line. It is operated by a small number of regular drivers who provide a friendly personal service.

The bus will stop at all recognised bus stops and on a ‘hail and ride’ basis, provided it is safe to do so – please signal clearly to the driver.

There's no need to book in advance, and English National Concessionary OAP passes are valid for free off-peak travel.

This service operates with financial support from North Yorkshire County Council.
